The Calgary John Howard Society relocated to Builders Road in Calgary consolidating two of their older properties into the new Bedford House and Community Services Facility. The open space program is tailored to two distinct uses on the site: a new community services building acts as a hub of services for at-risk youth and adults, and those involved in the justice system; and a residential building, the new Bedford House, which provides transitional housing for men exiting the justice system with wrap-around support to help them successfully reintegrate into the community. The total gross floor area for the completed building is approximately 3,995 m2.
